Legally Prohibited, Illegally Funny

Friday, April 30, 2010

Last night, Thursday April 29th, Michelle, Danny, and I had the privilege of being one of only thousands that can now say we saw Conan in concert. (Thanks MOM)!

The show opened up with Reggie Watts, and as funny as most of his skits were, I had to delete his stuff to make room - I mean, we paid to see Conan right?

Oh yeah, after the opening act there was a brief intermission, and who did we see sitting one row up and five seats down?

Norv Turner! He laughed as hysterically as the rest of us, and he was just as bored with Jason Mraz. He wins my vote for Coach of the Year. Maybe the chargers fired Marty because he was a Leno fan, if such evil does exist.

I'm going to include a video here. Rated PG-13, The screen shot shows it all, so be warned.

Is the semester over yet?

Tuesday, February 2, 2010
Sara and I have started another semester and have once again begun scheduling time to spend with each other, but it is worth it in the long run.

Sara has a big semester ahead of her, this is the time of year where accounting students apply for summer internships. She already has an interview with a very big firm. She is such a hard worker that she earned a special award for her performance last semester. Good thing she doesn't read this or she might be upset with me.
I on the other hand have another GE semester going on, counting down the days until I can finally apply to SDSU. Tact on the extra year I will stay in school for my masters and the chance I wont be able to get classes due to even more budget cuts and that leaves me in school for a while longer.

I will go, I will buy...

Saturday, March 7, 2009
...The Plates of Plastic - The 9" Caribbean Blue plates.

Today we bought our plates for the reception. The entire trip included stops at 3 Party City's (yes, City's... not cities. It's a name.) and 4 calls to additional locations as far as Chula Vista.

That's pretty much it. When you sit down to eat your reception dinner, you'll know where the plates came from.

The Proposal, in short.

Monday, February 23, 2009

I took Sara to the beach, she didn't suspect a thing. I was so anxious with anticipation, to the point of feeling sick to my stomach. Romantic, right?

After a long walk down La Jolla Shores with one of the lowest tides I have ever seen, we drove over to the Tide Pools at the Cove. It took a flash of genius to find a way to sneak the ring box out of the car without her seeing. ( We were both in work out clothes from playing tennis. )

In a private enclave by the sea, I knelt down to pop the question... not before she slipped on the rocks. Before I had a chance to say the famous words, she interjected. "Did you ask my dad?" "What did he say?" Nevertheless, she stopped long enough for me to ask and I got my Yes!
